Award-winning author and international speaker Josh McDowell is bringing The Lodz Scroll to the EZEKIEL FORUM. “Discover the Evidence” is a fact-filled presentation as well as a historical, hands-on experience. You will be educated about the meticulous preservation process of the scroll, and will then be given the opportunity to inspect the 72-foot long manuscript for yourself.
The scroll is not a fragment; it is complete and in-tact. Most scrolls of this age, nature, and condition are displayed in a glass case at a museum, but as owner of this antiquity, Josh invites you to get close enough to touch it and photograph it. “You can walk right up to it,” he says.
The Lodz Scroll is a rare, handmade, ancient Torah scroll (the first five books of the Old Testament) that has been meticulously preserved for over 500 years. The incredible task by the scribes to accurately copy each letter (304,805) found on the scroll, leaving little room for doubt about the authenticity of its contents.
“It’s an authentic, historical artifact...literal, physical evidence that what our Bible says today is actually what was written down originally.” Josh says.
He will also showcase other antiquities he owns, some which have been hidden for over 1600 years.
