I am sure that you are very much aware of the rapidly changing events surrounding the coronavirus. There have been a tremendous number of cancellations of events involving large crowds across our state and the nation.
In response to Governor Wolfe’s request last Thursday, March 12th, where he strongly encouraged the suspension of large events of 250 individuals or more, and out of an abundance of precaution, we have decided to cancel Motivate 2020.
We realize that many, including us, have been looking forward to this special Evening of Encouragement and we have wrestled tremendously with this decision to cancel. While as Christians, God has given “us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control,” we also want to be sensitive to the concerns of our attendees – especially those who are older or have compromised health.
We are working with Alistair Begg and Meredith Andrews to schedule this same event for next year. We will keep you posted as plans develop.
In the meantime, we will be issuing FULL REFUNDS to all ticket holders within the next few weeks. However, canceling does come with a cost to the ministry. If you would like to contribute the fee you paid for your tickets to help offset this ministry loss, we would greatly appreciate that.

Finally, I want to remind you what God says in Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Erratic times like these call us to a deeper, greater trust in Him. Psalm 100:5 says: “For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” God is still good today! We can trust Him!

Motivate is a synonym for encouragement. Who doesn't need encouragement? That is exactly what you will receive when you attend the inaugural Motivate 2020 on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
Motivate has been designed as the third Way Truth Life Radio annual event that combines an encouraging Bible message and music to worship our God and Savior. Motivate is an event where God's regional church comes together for An Evening of Encouragement. Take the opportunity to get to know other Christians in our area while worshipping together. The concept is taken from Hebrews 10:24: "...motivate one another to acts of love and good works."
The evening will feature Truth for Life Bible Teacher Alistair Begg (1). The Truth for Life “…mission is to teach the Bible with clarity and relevance so that unbelievers will be converted, believers will be established, and local churches will be strengthened.” A time of musical worship will be led by contemporary Christian music artist, songwriter, and worship leader Meredith Andrews (2) and her band.
This is a one-of-a-kind event that has been designed specifically for our Central Pennsylvania community of believers. Come attend an event that will motivate you to Christ-centered living!
(1) Alistair Begg has been in pastoral ministry since 1975. Following graduation from The London School of Theology, he served eight years in Scotland at both Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church. In 1983, he became the senior pastor at Parkside Church near Cleveland, Ohio. He has written several books and is heard on Way Truth Life Radio weekdays at noon on the radio program, Truth For Life. The Truth For Life “…mission is to teach the Bible with clarity and relevance so that unbelievers will be converted, believers will be established, and local churches will be strengthened.” The teaching on Truth For Life stems from the week by week Bible teaching at Parkside Church.
(2) Meredith Andrews is passionate about writing and leading songs that keep people's hearts and minds set on Jesus. Over the course of her four worship albums, the Dove Award-winning artist has been using her musical gifts, love for God, and her huge heart for His people - to teach and remind us all about the enormity of our awesome and loving Savior. In her latest project, Andrews invites the world to experience a very special night of congregational worship that took place in downtown Nashville. The result is a collection of songs that feel like a homecoming, intimately personal while still filling the room with a collective chorus of worship for a God who saves. It was Andrews' first and only goal in creating Faith and Wonder (Live) EP, for God's presence to be felt in a deep and genuine way.
